Formatting Tables |
Existing tables can be reformatted and repositioned. | ||
You can use the new toolbar to format any table in a valid presentation (of any size, in any position). | ||
Tables containing both text and numbers will be formatted perfectly. |
Format Table without Totals - Formats the active table without a total row at the bottom. | |||
Format Table with Totals - Formats the active table with a total row at the bottom. |
Any cells containing text are automatically aligned on the left and any cells containing numbers are automatically aligned on the right. |

You can obviously still use the familiar Tables and Borders toolbar to apply any specifc table formatting. |

Things to Remember |
Pressing F2 when inside a table will select the whole table. | |||
The automatic formatting will change the font colour, alignment, line spacing and will also remove any bold, italics or underline. | |||
Automatic Table Formatting is switched on by default but can be temporarily disabled by selecting (Options > Settings)(General tab, Automatic Table Formatting). |
