How to insert the new Table Layouts ?

You are probably familiar with using the task pane to change the slide layout and insert new slides.

This tool removes the need to use the task pane for inserting slides.

The new way to insert slides is to use the drop-down list on the right of the Template wizard toolbar.

The drop-down box on the right of the Template Wizard toolbar contains only one slide layout with a table placeholder.

The Table Format toolbar enables you to construct a much wider range of slide layouts.

It is possible to create slides that contain any number of placeholders in any position.

If you are also using the Chart Format tool then the various table placeholders can be combined with the various chart placeholders to create even more types of slide layouts.

It is possible to create a whole range of slide layouts using the new table placeholders.
