Adding Extra Annotations |
There are two more types of text placeholders that can be added to your list of available placeholders.
These placeholders allow you to add slide references and annotations to your pictures and diagrams.
These can be included from (Options > Settings)(General tab, "Annotations & References").
This option is not selected by default. |

Annotations |
Annotation textboxes are initially inserted at the top but can be repositioned anywhere on the slide.
The formatting of these textboxes is restricted to ensure that all presentations look consistent.
Any changes to the formatting that are not recognised as company style will be removed automatically.
You can use the Drawing toolbar to add arrows and other shapes to your slides to enhance your charts and pictures.
There is an option on the Options drop-down menu to allow you to quickly hide and display the Drawing toolbar. |

References |
Reference textboxes are initially inserted at the bottom but can be repositioned vertically.
Any changes to the formatting that are not recognised as company style will be removed automatically.
The size and position of the textbox can obviously be changed but when you have finished making your change the textbox will be repositioned horizontally on the slide to ensure consistency. |
