Using Bullets

 
 

 Bullet Points - Toggles bullet points on the current text selection.

 
 

Pressing Enter will insert a new line and consequently a new bullet point.

 
 

You text will always default to having a bullet point initially but it very easy to remove them.

 
 

You can easily toggle between displaying bullets by using the button on the new toolbar.

 
 

Just select the appropriate line and use the Numbered Bullets button.

 

 

What is different about the Bullet Points ?

 
 
  • All Bullet Points are reformatted automatically.

     
     
  • All Indented Bullet points are reformatted automatically.

     
     
  • Bullet points will not "shrink to fit".

     
     
  • Particular formatting such as bold and underline can be removed.

     
     
  • It is possible to prevent the combination of bullet points and numbered bullet points.

    Combining Bullets and Numbers

     
     

    Having both bullets and numbers in the same textbox can often make it harder to understand but there will always be exceptions.

     
     

    This is switched off by default but can be turned on from (Options > Settings)(General tab, "Combine Bullets and Numbers").

     
       

     

    Things to Remember

     
     
  • It is possible to mix bullets, numbers and indents.

     
     
  • Your bullet points can be easily indented using the two buttons on the new toolbar.
