Things to Remember

 
 

  • In Excel 2000 Help files had a different file extension. They were changed from ".hlp" to ".chm".

    		 
     

  • When you install Excel you have to specifically tell the installer to include VBA help.

    		 
     

  • If you cannot find this file you must rerun the Office Setup and make sure it is selected.

    		 
     

  • If you are having problems accessing your help then check that the help file(s) have been installed. If they have not been installed correctly then re-run the setup program and add and remove the necessary files.
