What is the Save my Settings Wizard ?

This wizard allows you to save your customised settings to a file stored locally.

This wizard includes any custom dictionaries, templates as well as AutoCorrect and AutoFormat lists.

When you run the wizard you can save or restore your configuration settings for any application.

These settings are saved in a profile file with a (".ops") extension.

This file is basically a snapshot taken from the registry.

You can either save your settings to a new file or restore your settings that have been saved to an existing file.

Installing the Wizard

This wizard should be installed as standard with Office XP.

Press (Start > All Programs > Microsoft Office Tools > Save my Settings Wizard)
