Step 1 - Applying a Restriction |
The Settings tab lets you decide on the type of restriction you are going to place on the data. |

Apply these changes to all other cells - This will apply this data validation to all the other cells on the worksheet that have the same data validation settings as the selected cells. |
Step 2 - Any Value |
This is the default and allows any type of value to be entered. There is no restriction. |

Step 3 - Whole Number |
This is the simplest type of restriction which you can apply and ensures that the data entered is numeric and not text. |

You can use the Data drop-down list to select which comparison operator you want to use. | ||
The list of available operators will depend on the selection made in the Allow drop-down box. |
Step 4 - Decimal |

Restricts times to after 12:00 noon. |
