KeyTips - The shortcuts that are available for the ribbon are called keytips - Press Alt to activate. To go back one level press ESC.
The Ribbon has a whole new set of shortcut keys called Access Keys.
In addition to all the shortcut keys that were available in 2003 every command on the ribbon comes with an associated keytip.
This keytip displays the name of the command, the shortcut key if it has one and a short description
Pressing F1 when the cursor is over the command will take you directly to the corresponding help topic.
Every command on the ribbon also comes with a new shortcut. To invoke a command using the new ribbon shortcut key first press the Alt key to display the shortcut keys for each tab and also for the quick access toolbar. Then press the key for the tab you want and then press the key for the command you want.
Shortcut keys are now called access keys, key tips, accelerator keys.
Press Alt to display all the key tips
Command tip boxes - for example conditional formatting/format painter.
