(Ctrl + ` ) - Toggles between the value layer and the formula layer. (Tools > Options)(View tab, "Formulas"). | ||
(Ctrl + [ ) - Selects all the cells that are directly referred to by the formula in the active cell. | ||
(Ctrl + ] ) - Selects all the cells that directly refer to the active cell. | ||
(Ctrl + Shift + [ ) - Selects all the cells that are directly or indirectly referred to by the formula in the active cell. | ||
(Ctrl + Shift + ] ) - Selects all the cells that directly or indirectly refer to the active cell. |

(Edit tab, Edit Directly in Cell) - If you switch this option off you will not be able to edit your cells directly in the cells but will have to use the Formula Bar. When you double click a cell, instead of being taken into edit mode all the cells that are directly referred to in the formula will be selected. An alternative is to press F2. | ||
(Edit tab, Ask to update automatic links) - Displays a confirmation message asking if you want to update the links whenever a workbook containing external links is opened. | ||
(Calculation tab, Iteration) - This allows you to perform an iterative circular reference. | ||
(Calculation tab, Maximum iteration) - The number of times a formula is calculated until the result is obtained. | ||
(Calculation tab, Maximum change) - This is the maximum number of iterations the workbook will perform to resolve formulas when the workbook is re-calculated. |
