Rather than send an entire workbook by email you can now just select and send a range of cells. | ||
This allows you to control the data the recipient has access to. | ||
Select the cells | ||
Select (File > Send to > Mail Recipient) to display the email header above the worksheet | ||

Emailing a Worksheet |
You can send part (or all) of a workbook in the body of an email. | ||
It is possible to just send specific ranges, charts, reports etc rather than a whole workbook. | ||
You must be using Outlook 2000 or later or Outlook Express 5 or later | ||
Email button on standard toolbar | ||
(File > Send to > Mail Recipient As Attachment) |
select the sheet, range or chart or pivot table report that you want to send. | ||

Sends the entire workbook as an attachment to an email message and adds the text "Please review the attached document" | ||
