PowerPoint 97 does not support Digital Signatures

If you are using PowerPoint 97 then you may not be able to view and edit macros that have been digitally signed.

PowerPoint 97 is unable to update the signature when the macro code is edited which means the VBA Project cannot be modified.

If you need to view or edit a digitally signed macro in PowerPoint 97, copy the VBA code from the VBA project into a regular text file (such as notepad) and then paste the code into a VBA Project in PowerPoint 97.
