Step 1- Default Title Slide |
The default layout for the first slide in a presentation is the Title. | ||
The default layout for the first slide when you create a new presentation is the title slide | ||
This layout consists of two text placeholders: one for the presentation title and one for the presentation subtitle |

Step 2 - Default - Title and Text Slide |
The default layout for all the subsequent slides in a presentation are Title and Text | ||
Whenever new slides added to a presentation using any of the following methods the title and text slide layout is used. | ||
This layout consists of two text placeholders: one for the title across the top and a larger one for the actual slide text. |

When you change to a different design template these placeholders may shift the text slightly depending on the exact position of the placeholders on the two master slides. |
