How to Resize your Diagrams ?

There are actually two items which can be resized:

1) You can resize just the frame without changing the size of the diagram.

2) You can resize both the frame and the diagram.

Resizing Frame

Select (Layout > Expand Diagram).

You can then adjust the black resize frames accordingly by dragging them with the mouse.

It is not possible to reduce the size of the frame to a size which is smaller than the actual diagram.

There is no restriction on how large the frame can be though.

Once you have finished resizing the frame, press ESC to cancel the resizing mode.

Resetting Frame

It is possible to reset the frame size so it is the smallest size possible for the diagram.

Select (Layout > Fit Diagram to Contents).

Resizing Frame and Diagram

You can resize both the frame and the diagram by dragging the frame border.

Select (Layout > Scale Diagram).

You must select the frame first ensuring that the white selection handles are displayed.

The entire diagram will be resized.

Things to Remember

  • Resizing with the resize handles will resize just the frame.

  • Resizing with the white selection handles will resize both the frame and diagram.
