AutoShape Defaults

Whenever you insert an object (i.e. a textbox, graphic, autoshape etc) the default settings are used.

It is possible to change these default settings.

Add the object for the first change and change all the settings which you would like to make the default.

Right click the object and select "Default for New Object".

(Format > Autoshape) Dialog Box

(Format > Font) Dialog Box

This allows you to change the style of the text that appears when you type text which is not in either the slide title or the slide text.
