What is a Drop Cap ?

A drop cap is a large letter that begins a paragraph and drops through several lines of text.

Select (Format > Drop Cap).

Place the cursor within the paragraph whose first letter you want dropped.

Lets you change the font, the number of lines to drop and the distance from the body text.

You can also resize the letter by selecting just that character and using the formatting toolbar.
