1) How can I see the names of the bookmarks in the document ?
By default, Word doesn't display them. You can show them by changing your options.
Select (File > Options > Advanced) Under Show document content select "Show bookmarks" and click OK.
This will only indicate them with square brackets.
There is no easy way to see the names of the bookmarks but you can use the Insert Bookmark to select them.
Select (Insert > Bookmark), change to sort by "Location" and select a bookmark and press GoTo.
The order seems a bit random. It does include any in headers and footers but at the bottom ?
2) When I right mouse click on a Field the "Edit Field" option is disabled, why is that ?
You may actually have more than one field selected
3) What Field can I use to insert the contents from a bookmark ?
REF
4) Hidden bookmarks do not show square brackets in the document even if select to show bookmarks in the document.
5) The bookmarks that Word adds automatically when inserting a cross-reference start with an underscore.
This means that they act as "hidden" bookmarks that are not visible in the Bookmark dialog box unless to show hidden bookmarks.
